OpenTipping allows you to join leagues, submit predictions for upcoming matches, and compete against others in public or private competitions. You earn points for every correct prediction.

By default, you earn 1 point for every correct win prediction. Some competitions also offer a Perfect Round Bonus (usually 5 points) if you get every tip in a single round correct. Check the competition rules for specific scoring details.

If enabled by the admin, a Joker Round allows you to pick one round per season where all your successful tips earn double points. Strategy is key—make sure to select your Joker Round before the first match of that round kicks off!

Tokens are our platform's currency. You can use them to join competitions with entry fees or seed the prize pool for a new competition you create. You receive 10 free tokens every day you log in!

Never miss a deadline again! You can set an Auto-Pick strategy (like 'Home Teams', 'Ladder Position', or 'Favorites') in your account settings. If you forget to submit tips, the system will automatically generate them for you before the match starts.

In Knockout competitions, you must tip successfully to stay in the game. If your prediction is wrong, you are eliminated. It's a high-stakes mode where the last person standing wins the entire prize pool!

The margin is used as a primary tie-breaker. You predict the points difference (e.g., Team A to win by 12). The system calculates your 'Margin Difference' by comparing your guess to the actual score. The user with the lowest total Margin Difference wins the tie-break.
